Paper Submission
CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE 6TH BRAZILIAN CONGRESS OF TUNNELS (6TH CBT)
For the submission of papers to the 6th CBT, the following rules must be followed:
1. REGISTRATION
1.1 Acceptance of papers is conditional upon proper registration for the event.
1.2 For the submission of abstracts, at least one of the authors must register in the congress system.
1.3 For the submission of full papers, at least one of the authors must be registered for the event.
1.4 Publication of papers in the proceedings is conditional upon its approval.
2. SUBMISSION
2.1 Papers must be registered on the corresponding platform, including the authors' data.
2.2 The abstract must be submitted in up to 300 words.
2.3 The full article file must be submitted in WORD with a limit of up to 16 pages and a maximum size of 20 MB.
2.4 Papers must be submitted exclusively through the event platform according to the schedule presented in item 5.
2.5 The full paper must comply with the event template.
2.6 Papers will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
2.7 Up to 8 (eight) authors per paper will be admitted.

- Submerged Tunnels
- Tunnels in challenging conditions - historical cases and lessons learned
- Materials - concrete (designed, molded), treatments, etc.
- Instrumentation / monitoring (tunnels under construction and operation)
- Innovations, robotics and automation
- BIM, Big Data and Digital Twin
- Safety, risk, operation of underground structures
- Contractual practices, insurance, and project management
- Operation and Maintenance of underground structures
- Geological-Geotechnical Investigations and Models
- Sustainability of solutions in Tunnels and Underground Works
- Innovation and Sustainability in Underground Mining
- Wells and Trenches
3. EVALUATION
3.1 Abstracts and full papers will be evaluated by the scientific technical committee composed of professors, researchers and professionals with extensive experience on the topics addressed. At least two reviewers will independently analyze each abstract and each paper.
3.2 The merit of the work will only be evaluated after it has been submitted to a similarity analysis.
Correct compliance with the template will be one of the criteria for evaluating the papers.
4. PRESENTATION
4.1 The presentation will be in oral, poster and publication format in the proceedings on magnetic media.
4.2 The presentation rules will be sent later.
